A 1 step paint correction is applied as standard when you receive a ceramic coating from PRO Mobile Detail. A coating applied over a non paint corrected finish will highlight defects and can actually make paint appear worse due to the high gloss and shine nature of ceramic coatings which will highlight imperfections although it is actually still better protected.

Ceramic coating is applied in small sections as the flash time varies widely and can be as little as 30 seconds up to 3-5 minutes once applied depending on environmental factors. We pay great attention to make sure an even and complete layer of coating is applied over the surface of your paint. Typically you receive two complete layers of ceramic on all painted surfaces of your vehicle.

All polishing dust and residue is removed with you guessed it another wash! This time after it is hand and blow dried each panel is wiped down with a specialized panel prep product to ready the panel for ceramic coat adhesion.

Once ceramic coating dries it is not able to be washed or polished off. All mistakes/high-spots are extremely difficult to fix once the coating has cured requiring heavy cutting if not sanding so we prevent this by check our work multiple times. Ever got a wax before and seen hazing streaks from where wax wasn't removed? This is very similar but semi-permanent. Each panel is scanned inch by inch to ensure we have no problems. Allow vehicle 24 hours to cure before driving, 7 days before introducing to water or washing.
